Glimpse of Bhutan Tour 6 days

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital and cultural hub of Nepal! We’ll be waiting to welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport.From there you will be transferred to the Hotel by privet vehicle.We will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at Hotel B/B.

Day 02 fly to Paro

The flight to Paro crosses the Himalaya Mountains, affording spectacular views of the awesome peaks including the sacred Jumolhari and Jichu Drake peaks in Bhutan. Upon arriving in Paro, enjoying the splendid views of alpine forests, small monasteries,temples and flat-roofed farmhouses. The first gift from Bhutan will be the cool, clean fresh air as you step out of the plane you will be greeted by our representatives and transferred to your hotel.

Day 02 Paro – Thimphu (morning hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastry)

After breakfast hike to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, which is Bhutan’s most famous monastery. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown on the back of a tigress from Singye Dzong in Lhuntse to meditating a cave where Taktsang Monastry now stands. It is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro valley. The hike to reach the viewpoint to the monastery makes for a nice half-day excursion. After lunch, drive to Thimpu. In the evening you can explore Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan and absorb the lifestyle of the people. You can also visit some interesting handicraft shops. Overnight in Thimpu.

Day 03 Thimphu sightseeing

After breakfast you will visit the King’s Memorial Chorten (built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who reigned from 1952-1972). Changgangkha Monastery, the radio tower (for a great view of Thimpu Valley and the Thimpu Dzong), and the zoo, which contains the national animal of Bhutan: the takin. From there you will visit the nunnery temple, the National Library (where ancient manuscripts are preserved), abd the School of Arts and Crafts (also known as the painting school). After a relaxing lunch, you will visit the National Institute of Traditional Medicine, a traditional paper factory, the majestic Tashichodzong and Simtokha Dzong (the oldest fortress in the kingdom). Evening drive back to paro Overnight in paro

Day 04:Fly to Kathmandu, check in at hotel. Rest of day free for sightseeing or shopping.

We take the flight to Kathmandu, where we check in at our hotel. The rest of the day is free for sightseeing or shopping in the bazaar. Evening we will have another celebration dinner in Nepali typical restaurant.

Day 05:Free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing, shopping or relaxing.Sightseeing in Some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of (Pashupati Nath), the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath).

DAY 06- KATHMANDU: DEPARTURE DAY

It’s your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We’ll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we’ll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
