Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital and cultural hub of Nepal! We’ll be waiting to welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. From there you will be transferred to the Hotel by privet vehicle. We will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Lukla (2,800 m) - Phakding (2,652 m) 35 min flight; 3 - hours trek

After an early breakfast, we take a car to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu Airport to check in for the 30 minute flight to Lukla. Landing on the narrow, sloping runway in the heart of the mountains is a very spectacular way to arrive. We start our trek with a downhill leg, from Lukla to Phakding (2610m) beside the river. To assist in acclimatize we take easy day.

Day 03: Phakding -Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) 5 - 6 hrs.

Trek starts in the morning after breakfast. The walk today is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill with multiple crossings over Dudh Koshi River and magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608 m/21,675f t). We pass the entrance to the Khumbu National Park where details of our permits are recorded and then drop down again to the river which we cross on a suspension bridge. We continue up the wooded valley on a good trail and cross the river again before reaching a confluence of rivers, one coming down from Tibet and the other from the Khumbu. We make a final crossing here on a spectacular suspension bridge and then begin an hour and half long ascent to Namche Bazaar. We gain our first views of Everest as we climb up hill towards Namche Bazzar, closer and magnificent sight of Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache. Finally, we reach the colorful village of Namche Bazzar, the main gateway of Khumbu region.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

Today will be spent resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the lofty altitude. Spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. Check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Friday and Saturdays, the local market is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. Acclimatisation walks include the one-hour walk up to the Everest Hotel above the village for the spectacular view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. We spend a second night in Namche. DAY 05: Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3,860M 5/ 6 Hours)

Trek starts in the morning after breakfast. We start our trek to Tengboche; another magnificent village of this region. The trek starts with short climbing before we reach the army camp. Then the trek is flat until we reach Kenjoma. You can give some rest to your legs in front of magnificent and huge view of Amadablam Mountain. From here the trail to Gokyo Lake and the trail to Everest Base Camp separates. The trail on the left hand side takes you to Gokyo Lake where the trail on the right hand side takes you to Everest Base Camp, so we follow the right trail. From here the trail steeps down until we reach Phunki Tenga for our lunch. Once we finish our lunch we again cross Dudhkoshi River before ascending to reach Tengboche. The trail again goes steep up through beautiful forests with numerous views of villages in the horizon and reach Tengboche .close views of Amadablam which is considered as one of the beautiful peaks in the world. Tengboche also got one of the biggest Buddhist monasteries in this region where you can also attend daily praying of Buddhist monks. Overnight in lodge on full board

Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4410m 4/5 hours)

After breakfast at the lodge, we trek for a couple of hours to the village of Pangboche, where there is the oldest monastery in the Khumbu. An hour beyond Pangboche, there is a good lunch stop at the small Sherpa hamlet of Shomare and then it is a further 3 hours walking, gaining height very gradually, to Dingboche (4410m) at the entrance to the Khumbu Valley. Day 07: Rest at Dingboche for acclimatization.

Rest at Dingboche for acclimatization and excursion in and around the places. Here you can steeply climb up to Nakartsang Gompa for the rare outstanding view of Mount Makalu (8463m.) along with Lhotse, Island Peak, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and Thamserku. The another option provided is a small side trip to Chhukung which takes about 2 and half hours to go up and 1 and half hours to come back to Dingboche. Overnight in lodge on full board

Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m 4/5 hours)

After breakfast at the lodge we trek to lobuche.we ascend the Khumbu Valley, starting out with an uphill section to the Thokla Pass (4830m), where we find the memorial to those Sherpas and mountaineers who have died on Mount Everest. Here, the trail starts to level out and we follow the lateral moraine on the west side of the Khumbu Glacier to Lobuche (4910m).it occupies a rocky, streamside location surrounded by towering peaks including Pumori (7161m), Nuptse (7861m) and Lhotse (8516m).Overnight in lodge on full board

Day 09: Lobuche to Gorakshep - trekking to Everest Base Camp (5357) and back to Gorakshep 6-7 hours

After having breakfast the trail continues for Gorakshep, along the way we can view Khumbu glacier by crossing north rim of Everest next to Khumbutse and Pumori, then we will reach Gorak Shep. After the lunch From Gorakshep we will continue for EverestBase Camp by passing several short up and down hills until we reach there. The Base Camp is spread over a wide zone and looks like a tented town .From Everest Base Camp we can view Khumbu ice fall, Khumbu glacier, Mt. Pumori, Khumbutse and other several peaks, then we will back to Gorakshep for overnight .Overnight in lodge on full board.

 Day 10: Early ascent of Kala Patar (5550m) for super Everest views. Descend to Pheriche (4240m). 

We have an early start for perhaps the highlight of our trip, the approximately 2-hour ascent of Kala Patar. At around 5550 metres, this is one of the finest viewpoints for Everest and the Khumbu Valley. Returning to Gorak Shep for some refreshment we then retrace our steps to Lobuche, before descending the Khumbu Valley to Pheriche (4240m) where we overnight. There is a permanent clinic at Pheriche, set up by the Himalayan Rescue Association .

Day 11: Pheriche to Tengboche (3867 m.) 04:30-05 hr.

We will trek down through the hillside blanketed by juniper trees. If it’s spring, pink and red rhododendron flowers ablaze our surroundings. After reaching Tengboche we can visit the oldest Buddhist monastery where we can see all Buddhist monks praying and doing ritual things.

Day 12: Tengboche to Namche (3440 m.) 04:30- 05 hr.

The trail to Namche Bazaar clings to the steep wooded slope beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several bends. After passing a Chorten, and beautiful reach the army camp at of Namche Bazaar. We want to take a long last look (and picture!) back to Lhotse, the tip of Everest and Tengboche from here.

Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886m.) 6:30 – 7:30 hr.

The trail descends steeply downward so we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi and its tributaries the trail becomes more level and natural. Although we are travelling the same route down, we feel completely different views. We snap a mixture of open plains and pine forests and in the distance snow covered peaks. We walk through the Sherpa villages’ noticing impressive faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayers flag while we walk through the villages .This is your last night on the mountain,tonight we will no doubt celebrate, once again, the end of a great trek.overnight in lodge on full board.

Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu, check in at our hotel. Rest of day free for sightseeing or shopping. 

We take the flight to Kathmandu, where we check in at our hotel. The rest of the day is free for sightseeing or shopping in the bazaar. Evening we will have another celebration dinner in Nepali typical restaurant.

Day 15: Free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing, shopping or relaxing.

This is an important contingency day in case of delays to the flights from Lukla. If we have experienced no delays this is another opportunity for Sightseeing in some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacredHindu temple of (Pashupati Nath), the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath.

Day 16: Kathmandu: Departure Day

It’s your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We’ll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we’ll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
