Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital and cultural hub of Nepal! We’ll be waiting to welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport. From there you will be transferred to the Hotel by privet vehicle. We will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight at Hotel B/B.

Day 02: Kathmandu - Lukla (2,800 m) - Phakding (2,652 m) 35 min flight; 3 - hours trek

After an early breakfast, we take a car to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu Airport to check in for the 30 minute flight to Lukla. Landing on the narrow, sloping runway in the heart of the mountains is a very spectacular way to arrive. We start our trek with a downhill leg, from Lukla to Phakding (2610m) beside the river. To assist in acclimatize we take easy day

Day 03: Phakding -Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) 5 - 6 hrs

Trek starts in the morning after breakfast. The walk today is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill with multiple crossings over Dudh Koshi River and magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608 m/21,675f t). We pass the entrance to the Khumbu National Park where details of our permits are recorded and then drop down again to the river which we cross on a suspension bridge. We continue up the wooded valley on a good trail and cross the river again before reaching a confluence of rivers, one coming down from Tibet and the other from the Khumbu. We make a final crossing here on a spectacular suspension bridge and then begin an hour and half long ascent to Namche Bazaar.we gain our first views of Everest as we climb up hill towards Namche Bazzar, closer and magnificent sight of Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache. Finally, we reach the colorful village of Namche Bazzar, the main gateway of Khumbu region.

Day 04: Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day

Today will be spent resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the lofty altitude. Spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. Check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Friday and Saturdays, the local market is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. Acclimatisation walks include the one-hour walk up to the Everest Hotel above the village for the spectacular view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. We spend a second night in Namche. Day 05: Trek to the Sherpa village of Thame (3820m).via Phurte and Thamo 5/6 hours 

We first climb up to the gompa above the town and here we pick up a trail which contours the bounding ridge of Namche and then follows the Bhote Khosi River through the villages of Phunte, Thamo, Thomde and Somde. The walk takes us through birch and juniper and we pass several impressive mani walls built from tablets of stone intricately carved with prayers in Tibetan script.After approximately 3 or 4 hours walking we reach a suspension bridge slung high across the river and on the other side the trail climbs to Thame. This 'second city' of the Sherpas occupies a strategic location at the junction of routes from the Rolwalling via the Tesi Labcha and from Tibet via the Nangpa la .we climb up to theme monastery which is one of the oldest monasteries in khumbu area and back to thame .overnight in lodge on full board.

Day 06: Trek to Khumjung via Khunde (3700m) 6/7 hours

We retrace our steps of the previous day part way down the Bhote Khosi. B78efore reaching Namche we turn off the trail and begin a long steady climb to the airstrip at Syangboche. Above here, there is a low col which leads to another major Sherpa settlement, Khunde. The Hillary Hospital is located here and there is an important monastery.we walk to khumjung sherpa village where sir Edmund Hillary school is located .overnight on full board

Day 07: Trek to Thyangboche 3860m.via Phunki Tenga 

We start the day with a long traversing descent to the bridge across the Imja River at Phunki Tenga. Beyond the river, we climb the wooded ridge to reach Thyangboche, one of Nepal’s finest monasteries, where many potential summiteers on Everest have visitedto gain the blessing of the lama for their attempt. Thyangboche is situated on the crest of an extension of the north-west ridge of Kangtega (6685m) which towers above the monastery. From this ridge there is a classic view of the Everest/Lhotse massif and of the stunning Ama Dablam. We stay in a lodge below the monastery. Overnight on full board.

Day 08: Tengboche to Namche (3440 m.) 04:30- 05 hr.

The trail to Namche Bazaar clings to the steep wooded slope beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several bends. After passing a Chorten, and beautiful reach the army camp at of Namche Bazaar. We want to take a long last look (and picture!) back to Lhotse, the tip of Everest and Tengboche from here. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 09: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886m.) 6:30 – 7:30 hr.

The trail descends steeply downward so we need to walk slowly and under control as our shaky legs continuously battle the rocky terrain. After crossing the suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Koshi and its tributaries the trail becomes more level and natural. Although we are travelling the same route down, we feel completely different views. We snap a mixture of open plains and pine forests and in the distance snow covered peaks. We walk through the Sherpa villages’ noticing impressive faith in Buddhism and culture of prayer stones and prayers flag while we walk through the villages .This is your last night on the mountain,tonight we will no doubt celebrate, once again, the end of a great trek.overnight in lodge on full board.

Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu, check in at our hotel. Rest of day free for sightseeing or shopping. 

We take the flight to Kathmandu, where we check in at our hotel. The rest of the day is free for sightseeing or shopping in the bazaar. Evening we will have another celebration dinner in Nepali typical restaurant.

Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu for sightseeing, shopping or relaxing.

This is an important contingency day in case of delays to the flights from Lukla. If we have experienced no delays this is another opportunity for Sightseeing in some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of (Pashupati Nath), the famous 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath.

Day 12: Kathmandu Departure Day

It’s your last day in Nepal! Grab some breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu. We’ll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. At this time, we’ll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved one.
